Class pre-requisites: 

• Competition Team Techniques- required for all participating competition team members along with an age-appropriate ballet class

• Hip Hop- ages 7 and up

• Lyrical and Modern- ages 10 and up

• Musical Theater- ages 7 and up; combination class including dance, acting, and vocal

• Pointe- by invitation only; dancers must attend at least 75% of Ballet 5 & Pointe classes (or a suitable make-up level as deemed appropriate by the instructor) to remain in Pointe; dancers are required wear properly fitting pointe shoes for all classes and be capable of on-pointe work in the center (away from the barre)

• Pre-pointe- by invitation only; dancers must be enrolled in, and regularly attend, a ballet class

• Tumbling levels 2 and above- students must enroll in at least one dance class to perform in recital

• Private dance lessons may be available pending instructor availability in all genres for $35 per hour

• Vocal lessons (private) are available by request through Mr. Tim

***A minimum of SEVEN students must be registered for any given class. First Position reserves the right to change the scheduling of classes or faculty for any class as deemed necessary by the directors.***
