About FPDS
First Position Dance Studio (FPDS) strives to provide the best quality instruction in ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern, pointe, tap, and tumbling in the area. We offer classes for ages 3 through adult, beginner through pre-professional. We pride ourselves in providing dance instruction to generations of families, in an atmosphere that is safe and fun for all.
Our Philosophy
Our primary goal is to create and nurture a love of dance while inspiring creativity, self-confidence, discipline, and respect for the performing arts. We welcome all people regardless of age, race, religion, or sexual orientation. We value diversity and we pride ourselves on helping prepare our students to take dance with them throughout their journey through life.

Our students have performed and studied internationally and nationally at various dance programs and schools in addition to college level work. Some of our prior students' accomplishments include:
