Miss Taylor has been a Co-Owner and Director of FPDS since 2010.  She began dancing at the age of three, under the direction of Sharon Mitchell at M.P.A.C. located in Pine Bush, NY.  She has been trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Street Jazz, Modern, Tap and Showdance. Taylor assisted in pre-dance classes for 10 years, and has been instructing since 2002.

She has also attended classes by Master teachers such as Illa Gaft, Jamele Graves, and Kenneth Still, performing in full length ballets including The Nutcracker with the New Jersey Ballet, and The Snowqueen under the direction of Illa Gaft. Taylor has competed and continues to compete in regional and national competitions since the age of seven. Taylor worked as assistant choreographer for the New York Theater Festival in the summer of 2017, for a show entitled “Somewhere with You” a Country Rock Musical.

 

Taylor is a HUGE fan of Musical Theater and regularly helps with Hamilton Gibson Productions including James and the Giant Peach, Mamma Mia, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, and theater camps such as The Wizard of Oz, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Tales of Tioga County, Madagascar, and Frozen. Miss Taylor loved and missed Musical Theater so much that she started a program at First Position in 2020.
